From Rags To Riches!

Dave entered the Mustang in a car show at The Villages Florida. The show was held on December 19 2009, it was estimated that their was 200-250 cars at the show ranging from Shelby cobras to model T's. Dave was reporting to me throughout the days event, every time he called I could hear the happiness in his voice....he even said that he could not get to his car at one point due to all of the spectators looking over it. The event lasted from 2pm until 7:30pm when they held the award ceremonies....And the winner is!!!!! David Shuck with his 1967 Mustang Fastback gt! This is a huge accomplishment by everyone that was involved in the restoration of this great car. Many more trophies to come!

I had a good friend of mine do a little fun photo editing, who says I cant be in two places at once!

My last blog entry on the stang

Well the day has come when I have to say goodbye to you my little Philly. We have had good times together little girl, you have come so far from what you once were. That old tree row where you once lay was not meant to be your home, you had bigger and better things to do in this world. So I took great pride in restoring you back to your former state, but only better. You Now have a new coat that shines so bright, your frame is strong, and you are ready again to move on to a new home!

This restoration had a deeper meaning to me than most of you may have known, It strengthened me inside and out. I learned that doing things on your own and working through problems gives you a greater appreciation for the finished product. Dave, Thank you for the opportunity to restore your beautiful mustang...it has been a pleasure and I hope you enjoy your ride!

Today Reliable carriers came and picked up the Mustang, they had a top notch rig and they were very nice people. I could of probably worked on her for another month but as a good friend of mine said about classic cars..."they are a work in progress"... The car turned out better than I could of ever imagined, whenever I would drive it around people would nearly wreck or fall over rubber necking at it and I would just smile. I can only hope that it will bring as much joy to you Dave as it did to me, Love ya Unc..

Hey, its 95% done!

Well, as anyone knows that deals with show cars and such....the last 5% is a freaking killer man! I have sorted through wiring issues, alignment issues, and this huge problem that keeps me on my toes no matter what I am working on which is "aftermarket parts." I would have to say that this issue alone has been the sole reason for all of my stress on this project. ha ha. Anyways, here are some good pictures to look at. Go to YouTube for the videos.
