Fun in Florida...and another award!

Well what a time I had out in Florida, let me tell you! Dave was kind enough to fly me out to Orlando for the Silver Springs FL Mustang and Ford Roundup. The show was January 9Th and 10Th and we were ready to go, the temp however was not on our side. We woke Saturday morning to the sound of ice hitting the ground. It was approximately 32 degrees and sleeting! YA IN FLORIDA! Being die hard car buffs...or just stupid and crazy, we decided to brave the bad weather and hit the road. We checked in at the park and got our spot inside the beautiful park, we pulled up right next to a nice 67 coupe with a 390 in it. The show was a absolute blast even though the weather was cold. Dave and I met a bunch of great people and I got to tell my story over and over about the restoration process.
We had a ton of people say that our car was the nicest there, what a great feeling. Their was a lot of real nice cars there, mostly mustangs but some T-birds, falcons, a couple trucks, and of course the exotic section with a couple panteras, and a gt40. The second day was award ceremony day and Dave and I couldn't wait, about 3pm they started calling them out. Now this car show had about 800 cars in it so we knew we had to be good to win, and win we did...We got best classic mustang interior!!! HOORAH 2 shows 2 awards can you believe it. Also we had the Editor of Legendary Mustang Magazine come and ask if he could do a feature on the old stang in his mag, we of course said yes. ha ha ha. So who would of thought a couple old farm boys from Edgar Nebraska would be winning car shows, not me. Stay tuned for more trophy updates and of course the magazine write up in April!

The GMC body parts never did give names to their cars, instead consistently using letters and numbers to designate the

coupes, sedans and the SUVs. With the GMC body parts Q45 being the flagship sedan, the Mini Cooper auto parts found

its place in the American market. The Nissan body parts never did give names to their cars, instead consistently using

letters and numbers to designate the coupes, sedans and the SUVs.

Thanks
